About
Built by entrepreneurs who understand what it takes to run a business through cycles — not just invest in one.
Our Story
Jum One is a Dubai-based investment firm focused on partnering with businesses across the GCC and India.
Its roots trace back to 1979, when the Bhatia family established Alam Steel in Dubai. Over two generations, the business grew from a small trading operation into a diversified industrial group, participating in some of the region’s most significant infrastructure development.
This foundation, built through decades of operating businesses, shapes Jum One’s approach to investing. The firm is grounded in an industrial, operator-led perspective, with a focus on long-term value creation, disciplined capital allocation, and resilience across cycles.
The transition from operator to investor is a natural progression. Jum One builds on that experience to identify businesses with structural potential, partner closely with management, and scale platforms over time.
Long-standing relationships across the region support the firm’s ability to engage thoughtfully and build aligned partnerships.
Jum One invests selectively, with an emphasis on alignment, governance, and patient growth, guided by a simple philosophy of long-term capital, hands-on partnership, and full accountability.
We invest the way we ran our own businesses — carefully, patiently, and with full accountability.
